Launched to celebrate Vauxhall’s racing success in 2008 British Touring Car Championship when it won the Drivers’, Manufacturers’ and Team championships, the cars’ colour schemes replicate those of race team and there’s even VXR Performance Centre parts discount included with every car.

To mark the start of the 2009 BTCC season and based on the Corsa and Astra VXR, the VX Racing Editions will have a combined production run of just 888 cars, selected to reflect the name of Vauxhall’s race experts, Triple Eight Engineering, who build and prepare all the VX Racing Cars.
The Corsa and Astra VX Racing Editions feature:-
- VX Racing team colours of red and black
- Full leather Recaro seats
- VX Racing logos on the B-posts and tread plates
- Tinted rear glass, black rear diffuser and black side bump strips and door mirror covers whilst the Astra version also gains Piano Black interior décor strips
