Eden Vauxhall helps the drive to deliver football in the community

Eden Vauxhall Exeter is helping to drive football in the local area by supplying a van to Exeter City’s Football in the Community team.

The Vauxhall Vivaro was handed over to Danny Harris (pictured left) and Jamie Vittles (right), who spearhead the Grecians work in the schools and with young people across the South West by Eden general manager Andy Hollis (centre).

The Football in the Community team deliver school football programmes as well as holiday courses to encourage school pupils throughout the area to enjoy the sport. The sign-written van enables the team to transport the equipment they need to deliver the programmes.

Jamie said: "We couldn't do the work we do without the help of our sponsors and the van that Eden Vauxhall has given us today will be vital for us to be able to reach out and work in the area we cover.”

Andy Hollis added: "We really value our links with Exeter City and the work the Football in the Community team undertake with young people. We are proud that our partnership enables youngsters to enjoy playing the game at all levels. For us as a local business, we feel it is important to be actively involved in supporting the community which in turn has supported our business over the years.”
