Driving Football into the Community
Eden Vauxhall in Exeter is helping ‘drive’ football into the community by providing Exeter City Football team with a van.
Exeter City's Football in the Community team took delivery of the brand
new Vauxhall Movano as part of Eden Vauxhall’s new sponsorship deal
with the club.
The vehicle will enable the team to provide even more road shows and coaching visits to schools throughout the region.
Danny Harris, who collected the vehicle on behalf of the club, said:
"We were desperately in need of a new vehicle and for Eden Vauxhall to
supply a brand new van is a fantastic boost for us. We meet so many
children and cover a lot of miles and with an expanding team of UEFA
qualified coaches and the new backing of the Football Trust and Devon
County Council, this is just what we need to fulfil our brief to bring
sport to young people.”
Eden Vauxhall general sales manager Alastair Hutchings said: "We are
extremely pleased to be able to help this group of top class coaches
work with the children of the South West. We are also very proud to see
our name and Exeter City's linked in this way."
