Website is Paradise for Eden

Just six months after launching its website, motor retail group Eden Vauxhall is celebrating its success after it has become one of internet partners Progress DMS’ best performing motor retail websites with an impressive 8,500 plus visitors in September via natural or organic searches.

The website has become a much-visited site by would-be Vauxhall drivers which has seen it achieve a high ranking on the search listings.

Eden Vauxhall’s website contains all the hallmarks of a fully functional automotive retail website including new model information; new car offers; group offers; accessories; servicing; online service bookings; and a user-friendly used car locator. Future developments include a ‘sales consultant free zone’ which will provide customers with the ability to evaluate their part exchange vehicle and broker a deal online and live finance quotes for each Approved Used Vauxhall in stock across their 5 dealerships.

Comments Eden Vauxhall managing director Graham Potts: “Our internet project was an ambitious one – we wanted state-of-the-art features which complemented rather than obscured the whole reason we all have a presence on the internet – as a showcase for our products and our business. These figures show that we’ve got it right. However, our website continues to evolve and we are already looking at new features to take it to the next level.”

The website went live in April and the following month almost 4,000 visitors had visited the site with that figure growing steadily every month reaching 8,530 in September.  What’s particularly encouraging is the amount of time browsers are spending on the website and the low number of browsers who click onto the site and immediately click out. In September, web visitors were spending at average of three minutes and 57 seconds on the Eden site.

The website has resulted in more than 5,500 telephone enquiries since its launch with three months each recording more than 900 calls which reflects the importance of the site to both customers and the group.
