Eden Vauxhall's website 'Highly Commended' at AM Awards
Eden Vauxhall's website www.edenvauxhall.co.uk has been 'highly commended' at the 2009 AM Awards held at the ICC in Birmingham last night.
The site, launched in April 2008 and built and maintained by Progress DMS using their latest Constructor web platform has been recognised by Automotive Management magazine for the steep rise in organic search visitors since launch and the high volume of enquiries the five Eden businesses receive.
In the fiercely competitive category of 'Best Dealer Website', Eden's site was narrowly pipped to the post by Autoquake, but was named as 'highly commended' by the judging panel of AM magazine. The other nominees for the award were Car Shop Megastore, Sytner Group, Lifestyle Europe, Nationwide Autocentres and Vertu Motors.
Progress DMS Operations Director Rob Skidmore commented, "To be highly commended by a well respected industry organisation such as Automotive Management is fantastic for both Progress DMS and Eden Vauxhall, and is good reward for the hard work and effort that has gone into the Eden site. The site has seen phenomonal organic growth and enquiry levels which continue to rise - January 2009 saw over 16,000 visitors to the site, of which 12,200 were from natural search. They also received over 1,700 telephone enquiries during the month, which is a fantastic result given the site has only been live for 9 months."
