About Eden Vauxhall
Eden Vauxhall is one of the newest and most progressive Motor Groups in Britain.
Established
in January 2008 as a Joint Venture between Graeme Potts and Vauxhall
Motors it operates 5 Retail Centres in Reading, Newbury, Fareham,
Exeter and Honiton.
Graeme Potts, the principal shareholder, has
spent over 20 years in the UK automotive sector and has extensive
experience of delivering a customer experience which has lead to growth
and profitability for the companies he has managed. In establishing
Eden Vauxhall, Graeme and his team are committed to combining uniquely
the characteristics of the very best large companies with the
individual service and personalisation that is appreciated from many
smaller private companies.
Eden has already invested in
excellent retail premises, customer focused systems and state of the
art technology, but most importantly is rapidly instilling a culture
which is demonstrably different from every other motor retailer. Eden
colleagues are being empowered to be genuinely customer focused. The
company's values are founded on openness, absolute integrity and
flexibility.
Graeme is asking every Eden colleague to be
obsessed with delighting and responding to customers needs while he
undertakes to make Eden Vauxhall a better world for colleagues in terms
of motivation, communication, rewards and personal development. A
radical example of this new and better world is that Eden is committed
to a six day operating week. We believe that our customers deserve the
very best service whenever Eden is operating and that frankly many
motor retailers deliver substandard service because of staffing
limitations on Sundays. We also believe that our colleagues will be
more motivated and more customer focused if they benefit from at least
one day every week when they have a chance to have high quality family
time.
All Eden centres will, with effect from the 1st
March, be open for a full range of products and services up until 9pm
every Tuesday and Thursday giving our customers the opportunity for
evening shopping after having had the chance to eat and relax after
work and when traffic volumes are characteristically lower and every
Eden centre will also remain open until at least 7pm every Saturday
evening. Along with our 0845 telephone service and our fully
interactive website I believe that this gives all our customers great
opportunities to experience Eden better service whilst delivering the
colleague environment that we wish.
